2006 Season - Week 13
Hall of Fame – The Owners Wing
I don’t think we’ve seen such fanatical campaigning in a US Presidential election as we have for the Owner’s Hall of Fame. A big thanks to all who have contributed some excellent argument to the debate. Especially to Mr Stamp who, if there was a Poet Lauriettes Gallery in the Hall of Fame would be a shoo in. Excellent work. I’ve received a number of votes but for those still reading Stampy’s propaganda you have got another week as you need to email me your vote by December 13th. Please note YOU MAY NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF.
Ron’s All-Food team
As you will have seen Ron’s vote was cast purely by his stomach and in homage to his deciding factor we have created a 53-man All-Food roster for him plus Owners, Coaches & Cmmentators. Welcome The Philadelphia Cheese. See attached. With all that food you may need some Jay CUTLERy to eat it with and can I suggest you wash it down with a glass of Brooks BOLLINGER or if you prefer beer, a bottle of SAM ADAMS. I’m particularly proud of our 2 Tight Ends where if you like to spice up your hot-dog you can add a splash of back-up Chad MUSTARD on your Bubba FRANKS. Genius. I suggest a trip to buy all this food to back-up Middle Linebacker Kirk MORRISON’s. Despite 51 players there was no room for Daunte CulPEPPER.
Bargaineeers continue to dominate
Despite a disappointing 18-point week John Botten’s $4 million wonders continue to lead the Premiership, now by 41 points with just 4 weeks left. His team scores 104 points per million spent while the 15 other teams average just 34 points. The second most cost effective team is Ron’s at 43 while the most expensive is Stampy’s at 27.
Injured Reserve
George has replaced injured NY Giant Wide-out Amani Toomer with Washington TE Chris Cooley who immediately provided a TD for him in the loss to Atlanta.
BUMS on Seats.
The NFL Network Thursday night game is the meaningless Cleveland @ Pittsburgh so we are not getting together on Friday. We are back at HQ on Sunday from 6pm for Baltimore @ Kansas City followed by Denver travelling to the San Diego. The red key games are The Giants @ The Panthers and Buffalo @ New York to take on The Jets. We’ll be back at Johnny’s on Monday for New Orleans @ Dallas and then H’s as usual on Tuesday for Chicago @ St Louis. Must win games for everybody.
